In collaboration with the Business Travel Pioneers, NMBS organized their very first visit to the ÖBB Nightjet on May 8th. This is to introduce travel managers to the option of the night train as a means of transport for their business travelers. While the Nightjet was traveling between Brussels-Midi and Liège-Guillemins, we could enjoy a guided tour on board.
 

12 companies and universities, representing a total of about 48,000 employees, today officially joined the Business Travel Pioneers, an initiative of Bond Beter Leefmilieu. By doing so, the signatories commit to drawing up concrete sustainable travel policies to reduce the climate impact of their business trips. In the presence of Minister Gilkinet, the forerunners signed the coalition's engagement statement.

In order to push sustainable travel forward, Bond Beter Leefmilieu unites these organisations in a strong coalition. As such, the organisations create a rich network and stay up to date with good practices, new insights and examples from abroad. As a coalition, we also work towards a better policy framework that offers more opportunities for sustainable business travel. The first event of the Business Travel Pioneers took place on 21 September.
